PMG Technologies Receives International Recognition for Contributions to Vehicle Safety

Toronto, Canada — PMG Technologies is proud to announce that it has received a Special Appreciation Award from the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) at the 28th International Technical Conference on the Enhanced Safety of Vehicles (ESV 2026), held in Toronto. 

Co-hosted by Transport Canada and NHTSA, ESV 2026 brought together global leaders from government, industry, and academia under the theme “Advancing Innovation: Technologies for Safer Vehicles.”  This international forum showcased cutting-edge advancements in vehicle safety, including automated driving systems, crash avoidance technologies, and occupant protection. 

The Special Appreciation Award recognizes PMG’s long-standing contribution to vehicle safety, alongside 19 international awardees whose work is helping to save lives on roads worldwide. 

For nearly 30 years, PMG has played a key role within Canada’s vehicle safety ecosystem, collaborating with manufacturers, suppliers, and public authorities to advance testing and research. This recognition highlights not only PMG’s technical expertise, but also Canada’s leadership in developing and validating next-generation transportation safety solutions.
