CLIMATE ROOMS
PMG Technologies can provide three different sizes of temperature controlled climate rooms. Depending on the application, we are able to deal with everything from the smallest component to a semi-trailer or bus.

Twenty-four hour operation allows for overnight cold soaking and tests over long consecutive periods. Two of the temperature controlled rooms are located in a 5 400 square feet (500 m2) building next to the large laboratory while the third and smaller one is mobile.

For both fixed chambers, a ventillation system forces the air upwards to the ceilling where the refrigeration coils absorb the heat. The resulting air movement may range from 0.5 to 2.5 km/h. This wind chill factor can be controlled to reduce its impact on the tests operation.

These rooms can be used for cold starting and defrosting tests, performance evaluation of hydraulic systems, material behaviour, evaluation of products and vehicles under extreme climatic conditions, filming and more.
